These things happen.
As @XRHYSX says, it probably isn't '70s. The grip shift, brake levers and rear derailleur look like more recent ones to me.
It does say Sarasota on the frame so probably a cheap copy of the Saratoga.

Well, nearly!
It was relatively small. And still warm from the oven. We had a slice plain, then one with ice cream. There's one chunky slice left, but I don't hold out much hope for its chances....

A quick web search doesn't find anything about them (only another of the same for sale in Manchester). Do you have any info?
My suspicion is that this is something far eastern using an American name.
