Good morning.
I've already had to chase a 10ft trampoline round the garden with a hysterical child shouting directions at me from the window <sigh>
Pass the tea someone...

Late to this Saluki, so sorry to hear your news. :hugs:
Thank you.
We are dealing with it all with a steady diet of tea and ice-cream. Work is helping. Tuesday and Wednesday were manic. The rest of the week is a little quieter. My back is still killing me from digging but I think that more tea will do the trick. I've had a hot bath or two, there is not much a hot bath won't cure but by back is taking its own sweet time on this occasion. Must be my age.

Where we used to live, we hacked back the garden overgrowth and found an 8' trampline hiding at the bottom of the garden. With the amount of plant life around it, I doubt a hurricane would have shifted it out of place.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Hold lnto your hair and anything else. Bit blowy out there today.

Reminds me of a car-pedestrian accident I witnessed many years back. I had been doing some court work and was just leaving the building when I heard a screech of brakes and turned to see a pedestrian flying into the air after being hit by a car. I was a trained first aider so ran over to render assistance. As I got close I saw a man on the ground with his hairline at an odd angle. I steeled myself, thinking that his head must be split open and I was about to see brains on the road. Anyway, as I reached him I asked his name to see if I could get a response at which he put his hand up and tidied his wig!! He suffered no more than bumps and bruises and I was very relieved. Still laugh when I'm reminded of it.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Oh dear. How embarrassing. I am afraid that I would have burst out laughing. I find anything like that hilarious, but thats just me.

The feeling of relief that brains were not involved suppressed the urge to laugh. Have laughed many times since though.

Morning all. A whole pot of tea all to myself
Was planning on a bike ride this morning. Gale force winds have changed this plan
