welsh dragon
Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I'm proper knackered. Tis son's birthday tomorrow, which means having the ex in-laws round for tea, which means I've been tidying and cleaning all day.
Oh dear. Not good.

Very sorry to hear thisNot good indeed.
We had to have my old Saluki put to sleep yesterday. We collected him from the vet today (we stayed with him as he went) as they stored him while we dug a hole today after work. We dug a 3'6" hole, it was too clay-ey to dig deeper without a back-hoe. We buried the poor old lad and planted a willow tree with him. I'll put some bulbs around the tree tomorrow after work.
Its been a sad old 24 hours. The old lad was about 14 and we had him for nearly 5 1/2 years after he was dumped on a dual carriageway in Ireland. He had gone off his back legs and was incontinent too. Poor old sausage. It broke our hearts but he was as miserable as anything. He'd not wagged his tail for a fortnight, not sure he could any more though. He wasn't in pain at all, this last week he just went downhill really quickly.
The other dogs are a bit mopey, especially the Greyhound as his 'fast friend' is no longer here, not that Gabriel has been able to run for a couple of weeks.
This is him a couple of summers ago
I don't mind most of them, my sister in law was my best friend before I even met my husband. Sadly bloods thicker than water and we're not close now. Also, I don't see my two nephews much any more so its lovely to see them as I was a second Mum to them when they were small (Now 16 and 13). I like my brother in law, he only lives down the road and I get on with him ok.Oh dear. Not good.
