Awww. Yeah my cousin and his wife had one (both police officers). They rescued him and he was such a lovely dog!

Yes. His back went. Because of theyre weight, they don't live as long as other dogs. He died when he was nearly 10.

I need
A. A bigger house .....not an option, I like it here.
B. A shed....not an option....lose garden space.
C. Fewer bikes.........................sorry forget I said that.
D. Less furniture = more room....Looking favourite so far

I have

A. no need for a bigger house.
B i have a big shed and a log store that is enormous
C i have only one bike
D no need to get rid of furniture.

My brother had a harlequin great dane. That was a good age.
She was my ex's...she was a lovely dog but devoted to him.
I'm on my 3rd GSD, all were/are rescues :smile:
My boy you can see there (Oskar) has hip and elbow dysplasia as well as Wobblers Syndrome.
We may only have him until he's 4 or 5 but he's happy and has a great life. He spent his first 6 months in kennels....now he just loves being with me and his bed, and his toys and....well you get the picture :laugh:
