I went all around Mytholmroyd and up Cragg Vale yesterday, cyclist everywhere! Had Chinese takeaway in Hudds.

Keep within trotting distance of the nearest dumping place. Was it one of the ones near the canal by chance?

Nope no chance. Its just after midday here. Just spent 40 mins on the turbo trainer half killing myself. Off to have a shower.

Ah, a like minded spirit. Nothing like a good sufferfest on a turbo. However, I did a lazy 40mins on mine today. Going to paint the bathroom ceiling this afternoon and then head down the pub for some karaoke this evening. Another easy Sunday.

I am afraid I am a lightweight cyclist. Nice weather is the time I go out. I don't like wind, rain.

I cycle for fitness and pleasure so, like you, avoid the bad weather. However, don't paint yourself as a lightweight because of that.
I'm just a few months short of 60 years old and bagged a 22min 10mile TT this year - not a lightweight performance.

We just tailor our cycling to our lifestyles and needs!!

Thats true. Congratulations. I only started cycling again at the end of august after 45 years. Not exactly the right time to start I suppose. Hopefully by the spring I will be ready to cycle I earnest, and incresse my mileage and time and general fitness.
