Is that the same sort of series as the war time farm one? Cos that was filmed just up the road from us
Its set at Weald and Down museum in West Sussex , not far. It looks so nice :sun:

It is mid November and after the year we have had here I'd be hard put to complain to much. Been the best year weatherwise I can recall in this part of the world
We've had amazing weather too, even if it was late starting, so I'm not complaining either.
Anyway, you get lots of fab weather up there. It was a heatwave last time we were up. OH was doing his last munro and I was sitting outside a coffee shop with a hot chocolate, and a book, doing a spot of sunbathing! Should add, we were on Mull. And waiting for the ferry back at 8 in the morning, it was BOILING. Tarmac melting and everyfing

One of my favourite songs. I was travelling by train from Seattle to Los Angeles many years ago. There was usually some entertainment in the evenings (the journey takes three days). One evening there was a guitarist taking requests for songs.
I thought that "All the leaves are brown" was the name of the song, whereas it is, of course, "California Dreaming". He sang it beautifully.
Love that song too. Not heard it for a while :music:

A short update on Bobwatch: He has several toys, like a fish on a stick, a fish on a string, some little balls with bells in them and a large ball that I can put biskits in, and the biskits fall out as he pushes it around.

What do you think is his favourite indoor toy?

I could give you a clue, it is not one of the above items.
A rolled up crisp packet, or a box, or a shoelace......

Edit// I am now further on into the thread.......errrrmmmmm...... would it be toes and socks??? :giggle:

Mull often has the most hours sunshine "statistically" due to the warm air from the gulf stream creating an air pocket that parts the clouds in that area. Only know this because I proof read a friends Uni work for them. Thankfully my remit was only the spelling and punctuation. Content was way over my head:whistle::wacko:

Well, we had crazily hot weather in the Shetlands, Outer Hebrides and the Orkneys on a few trips. (we've also had trips where you couldn't stand upright, but I'll not mention those! Cue the Billy Connolly line when he's up in the Orkneys - do you think you could do with a bit more wind up here - f*** !). And in Ullapool. In fact, the sun usually shines when we're up there. ,

You are not supposed to broadcast facts like that!!!!! We have spent many decades convincing the rest of the world that Scotland is a cold, bleak, wet, windy, midge infested wasteland because we are quite selfish and want it all to ourselves. You have just undone all our hard work in one fell swoop. Shame on you. We will be inundated with blooming tourists next year now and it's all your fault:evil::evil::evil::tongue::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Hopeless, you've just ruined the most beautiful place in the world. There were, up until now, only a handful of people on this planet who knew the true beauty of Scotland. Now you've let every Tom, Dick and Harry who has access to the internet know what it's really like. Scotland will now become nothing more than a car park and it's all you're fault.:thumbsdown::ninja::boxing::gun:
