One of the streets we service today borders the city walls, with a big grassy strip. Each year the council put up notices at the end of October reminding people that bonfires are not permitted on the grass. Today I noticed that someone had stuck a little sticker on one of those notices, and written on it was the following:

"Unless you are very very careful, and it is very very small in a metal bottle-top for very very tiny mice, to toast very very tiny slices of hazelnut and eat them while they warm their very very tiny toes!"

And there was a little drawing of a mouse warming its hands in front of a tiny fire in a bottle top.

This made me

So I went looking for the post somewhere on CC that has all the emoticons written out and instead found an odd and hilarious thread about people counting backwards and forwards something to with women being better then men .... anyway, that gave me a good laugh but I came back here because I still can't find what I was originally looking for. And forgot. What I was looking for.

Talking of big boxes of chocolates, when our bedroom is all finished, I intend to spend a day in bed, watching films (Fred Astaire mainly, and Singing in the Rain), in my jimjams, and eating soft centred chocolates from a huge heart shaped box. For best effect, it'll need to be the sort of horrible cold rainy day that makes you glad to be indoors.

GREAT IDEA
Once everything is done and I am in Portland in an apartment, I think I'll do the same thing

EDIT
except for the old movie thing as I will probably be watching all the shows I've missed and need to catch up.
