Do they still have the Harrogate bike show? I went to that once in the 80s.

No unfortunately it is not on anymore, I used to go to that when I was a kid it was more of trade show and was on over a few days and I always managed to snaggle some freebies

There also used to be a HiFi exhibition as well that used to keep us entertained for a few days a year but that isn't on anymore either

I love rugby to. That's a real game. Not like wussy football. Men seem to like watching women mud wrestling. There's nothing like watching men doing the same thing.

Fnarr has just started a thread about Yorkshire which links to an article in the Guardian that says Harrogate has been voted the happiest place in Britain.

They do not do it for me I prefer the chunkier side of men.

Wasn't much in the way of neon. Dark clubs, wearing black, and looking 'interesting' was where I was .
