What sort of glue did you use to stick the maps to the inside of the box? Please do not tell me you made your own glue with flour, water and gumption. :laugh:

I am thinking about covering some boxes with maps etc, for storing my wool etc.


Plain old PVA. I've used it a lot to cover cardboard boxes with paper. You can thin it a bit with water, and spread it on the paper or the box. It'll look a bit wrinkly at first, but it tightens up as it dries, and as it dries it goes clear. A coat of it over the top will harden into a clear 'varnish'.
