We really should find a way to organise a Tea? ride.

I've ridden with a few of the Tea? crew in the past.
Of course, some of them not around any more. I do hope these two facts aren't connected...
I still miss Chuffy, Baggy, Tdr1nka, Landslide and Wafflycat - all of whom I've ridden with.

Gulp I have got my first essay to mark. I haven't been given any guidance on how to do it.

OK - read through the assignment brief - making note of any components and marks available for that component - and then read through the assignment.

They should have given you some guidance (I do with my markers  ) but if you don't have it you can still mark the assignment. I have been known to occasionally

As you're reading through, look for aspects which cover the different components, allocating marks accordingly.

When you've finished, total them up. Does the total mark feel right for the education level it's at? If so, you're OK. If too high/low then re-check and adjust.

I generally work on grade boundaries, then high/medium/low aspects within these. As a result many of my marks are in the 2/4/6/8/0 within a grade, avoiding 9's as they're contentious.

Well so far today i have glossed the pelmet, window surround and windows sill and washed the car.

I was thinking about going out for a bike ride but it started snowing when I was washing the car

We're listening to The Archers. Well, I'm listening, I need to find out if Chris Carter dies....

Then we might walk down to Aldi for a breath of air, and maybe rearrange some furniture after lunch.

I led a craft workshop yesterday, at St Nicks, teaching 3* ladies how to make shopping bags out of old umbrellas. Of course, now I have more competition for the broken ones in bins! We also made parcel-bow brooches, and neat little gift boxes folded out of old Christmas cards.

There were 6 booked, but it was a rainy day. Still, it was a nice manageable group for my first workshop, and they all enjoyed it.

In a radical shift of habit, I've had a cup of c*ff** first thing today.

Well that was very :cold: and windy.

I set off to do a lap of the next town and then back to do a lap of this one which I did, then I went over the moors to otley and had dinner it was blowing a gale and snowing on the top of the moors, I arrived at the cafe just in time as about 20 -30 cyclists arrived a few mins after me but I got served first I had scrabbled eggs ;) on toast and a pot of :cuppa: .

After dinner I came back into a constant headwind/sidewind combination that damn near ruined my legs and now I am home 42.67 miles later.
