I'm back from the Dales.......I'm going for a swim to loosen me up. But first

I have been trying to find a Mothering Sunday card. If I rule out ones with teddies, bunnies, and slushy verses there are not many left. Then rule out any with glitter on them, or the word "Mummy" and there is even less left.

I've just carried a 10kg bag of cat litter home from the supermarket, as well as my other 2 bags of goodies, my arms are about to drop off

I'm feeling jetlagged ...

I didn't get to sleep until after 04:00 and I'd set my alarm for 06:00 so I could text a friend to make sure that she was awake. (She had an early train to catch to go and visit her very poorly old mum.)

I eventually managed to get back to sleep but was then woken up again by my usual alarm. I don't like using alarms but I find that my natural cycle is a 25 hour 'day' unless something synchronises me to 24 hours. The 25 hour day causes me to go to bed later and later and get up later and later so I end up out of step with everybody else. People think I'm lazy when I'm just getting up at 10:00 but I've often only had 4.5 - 5.5 hours sleep!

I tend to look for something from the "Left blank for your own message" range, they are often nice art or somesuch and I can write my own non-slushy message.

I would usually agree with you Wocky. Recently I been sending peeps E cards. The cost is £7 for twelve months regardless of how many you send.

Actually, I've never smoked...... and never been tempted to. I do have other vices tho' (but probably not as many as NT has in his workshop).

Oh I have smoked and drank in great quantities ......... not anymore though .......... I do hope there is an afterlife otherwise all the experience I have built up doing all the bad things in life will totally go to waste .....
