Have a great time - i was fortunate enough to see the Tour in London and Canterbury last year - nothing will compare to seeing it in France tho....and in the mountains too!!!

I am cycling London - Paris next year and arrive in paris the day before the Tour guys. we get to ride up the Champs Elysee which will be set up for the boys coming to town.....That should be special!!!!!

Now I'm really jealous:biggrin:

Me and Mrs P are booked on the 08.00 train from St Pancras on the sunday morning, it gets into Paris at 11.15 their time. I am aiming to get along Rue De Rivoli, somewhere towards the tunnel, if the Place de la Concorde is too crowded. Cheers for the offer though.

Action Medical Research. I looked about and they seem to be the only charity that rides into Paris the day before the tour. Other charities do it but not the last saturday in July

You have to raise £1,200 minimum

It's the 08.26 for us, get the beer in, we're right behind you.

I always beeline into a bar right outside the station called 'Aux Villes de Nord'.
The lady proprietor and her staff are always charming. Stand at their bar and quench that thirst!!!
Squattez - vous WC though
Have a great time - it's lovely letting the train take the strain - and yer money for ropey coffee :becool:
