TDF 2013

My wife is just back from Lyon and she got me the French Cyclo-Sport magazine. I thought I would let you know that the 2013TDF will start in Corsica and will have the first 3 stages there.
2013 will the 100th TDF and it will be the first time ever it will start in Corsica.
Her sister came from Australia so they decided to meet half-way so came up with Lyon.
Good choice!

It's astonishing that the TdF has never been to Corsica. I mean, it's even been through Deptford (with impeccable timing, I managed to be in France at the time but I did see it on French TV...).

Do you think they'll have decided by then whether to banish a certain Spanish Controversial ?

I rode round Corsica in August 2011 and thought it would be ideal for a mountain stage. Unlikely if it's the opener...
