Attach a trailer ?Where would he put his dog? He has to take it in the car to go for a walk
This is an interesting one. We looked at doing similar as we have a driveway which the car would sit upon but then started to ponder where we would stand if the car was stolen from the driveway or damaged on the driveway. It was off public land but not insured so decided to leave it insured as it is our family car and we still have a personal loan to pay off for a few more years which we used to buy it with. It’s only 5 years old and not cheap to replace as I currently need 3 isofix seats in the rear.I could've saved nearly £300 on insurance with a SORN, and the VED if I'd only known the car wasn't going to move for nearly a year.
I would have said it was very unwise not to insure, unless you are absolutely sure it was extremely unlikely to be stolen and you could accept the financial consequences. This is an interesting one. Just a thoughtDon't be silly
Cycling is far to risky ... if your frightened of covid you’d be terrified of cycling ... all those killer cars ....Why not be a cyclist then
Search and rescue volunteering. I spend a fortune just so I can keep that going. If you never go anywhere why bother keep it?
'Be a cyclist'?! Damn' them!🧐 I've heard they don't have insurance and ride two abreast as well!!🧐Why not be a cyclist then
I drive a diesel and pay no VED , 0 rated. This thread has just reminded me. I have to pay my £125 annual 'road tax' in 8 days time. 125 quid, yet those damned cyclists pay absolutely feck all!!🧐
I've got vehicles that are both Tax and MOT exempt yet still need to 'Tax' them each year?I had to renew my tax last week. My car is Nil rated, but you still have to actually renew the tax on the portal or you get fined. The system cross references the MOT at the same time.
