Mum has really bad arthritis and can barely hold things at times so know how bad it can get. Think it's amazing that you can get out and challenge yourself...well done mate
It's all down to the medication. I have to inject myself twice a month, the nurse that showed me how to do it said each injection costs £500

Nasty ,
after a lot of googling my wifes injection comes in at over £12k a year , so
a similar amount on top of whuch she has 2 other tablets a day + monthly injections because she cant manufacture /process b 12 and iron properly.

Not nice, but I guess we're lucky to have the meds. A few years ago all we would have had was not very effective pain relief

Ah. Adalimumab. Abbott drug. I know it well. At least it actually works, and the AEs are pretty OK given the alternatives. You are pretty lucky to get that. Hope it works for you.
It worked well for about 9 months then seemed to stop, so was put on Leflulomide which seemed to kick start everything again. It really seems though, that the more I do, the better I am. Oh, off the Lef now
