Inspired by this thread, I just used tapirik to sync garminconnect, endomondo and strava. It took a while, and now I have some 350 ish activities to update on Strava! I've used garminconnect for years (motionbased prior to then) and it's my master data store.

Still, not being an FBer etc, at least I haven't gone and spammed the social networks!

Do you have duplicates in Strava now or are they just transferred from Endomonodo to Strava?

There doesn't appear to be duplicates in Strava, but I wouldn't swear to it. That said, as I'm new to Strava and have only loaded data to it for this year, any duplicates would have stood out.

I haven't checked Endomondo as yet though.

Just synced my accounts. Great idea and so easy. The developer says new sites will be added on request and demand so I have requested he looks into getting bryton sport as one. He says if there is demand he will add it.

I've logged my first ride that I let sync automatically and it worked a treat.

this is quite handy, I manually back up my rides in dropbox and also synced across all three apps. Should save a bit of time?

Non-cycling friends have always been almost mortally offended that Endomondo posts to my timeline, and last night for some reason apparently 40,000 miles and 'thousands' of activities got posted to my Facebook page, causing a total shet-storm of wringing from MANY people I know.

I've had this too, when I uploaded a months worth of stuff direct to Endomondo. The cure is to go to the app settings for Endomondo in your Facebook account and change its posting privileges - I set it to "me only" and that stopped the complaints!!!

Cheers! I went a step further and entirely disconnected Endomondo from Facebook when I found out that some friends had actually gone as far as blocking me because they didn't want to see my Endomondo updates!
