I tried the cheap
ebay made in China solid tyres last week on my training rollers. The tyres were easy to get on the wheels with a good set of tyre levers and after 5mins in the oven. No pegs or pins, I did need to centre the tyre tread by pulling them with pliers wrapped in a cloth, so the tread was central.
The big problem is that the rolling resistance is very, extremely, extraordinarily high, so they are too difficult to get rolling. No good for my intended purpose, the training Rollers, it was too much effort to get the wheels rolling.
Fortunately, they were easy to get off the wheels too, I pulled them up by the tread with pliers/cloth and stuck a tyre lever underneath them.
