Well, write it down boy ......
I'm in need of a new tyre for my tandem (front). I've tried Marathon + on both front and rear, but find them a little "dead". Recently I've been using Marathon Supremes, which I do like, but are there any others I should consider? Don't need tubeless and would probably prefer folding.
TIA.

As always, what’s your criteria, otherwise you’ll just get a list of other’s favourite tyres.

Thanks guys, gone with Panaracer Pasela in the end, to some degree because I couldn't find anything else in the size I need, and so far they seem fine.

I love the supreme also but discontinued. I think the efficiency is it's replacement. I am looking for tires for 4500 mile trip on fully loaded tandem, including 580 miles on the Great divide mtb trail. I'm currently testing schwalbe mondial 700x38

26" Marathons on ours unsure what exact variation as it's buried in the garage.

Use to have city slicks but they didn't work well on the tandem.

My preference used to be the Schwalbe Supremes but that it is difficult to get hold of them in 26" I;ve gone for the Continental Contact Urban & they're great!

Supremes on my single Thorn Mercury rear wheel has just had a sidewall failure. Must have ridden at least 15,000 km and I don't recall a single puncture. I am replacing with Pasela Panaracers which was the brand that our Thorn tandem came with.
