Well done from a fellow Sheffielder.

I think Gleadless is one of the highest points in the city, so it's all uphill to get home.

At least you're not trying to get home up Gleadless Road :biggrin:

If anyone is interested I made it home! took me 30 minutes normally takes 20 -25 in the car so I am pleased with that.

It is only 5 miles but it is 5 miles of hill hopefully I can improve my time as I get better.

I am in the car today though, needed to let the body recover... baby steps!

What did you spend the additional £36 on?
There is probably some bit missing but..
New Mud Guards
2nd Hand Quality Saddle
New Grip Tape
Cables
2nd Hand Pedals
New Brake blocks
Luckily I was given some 700c wheels and tyres with 6 speed, which upgraded the rather tatty wheels and tyres and upped my gears from 5 to 6!
