Personally, I like to use a buff under the crash hat. It wicks the sweat away stopping it getting in my eyes and also keeps me cool.

Also good in winter as it keeps a bit of warmth in.

I used to suffer from being a sweaty boy, nothing worse that drops of sweat getting on your glasses. I now use one of these It keeps the sweat away from my eyes / forehead and makes for a more comfortable ride. The only yucky bit is when i get home and have to wring it out

I have a similar one for the winter which is a little wider and with a fleecy inside.

The added bonus is it also keeps a lot of the sweat away from my helmet straps etc.

We don't have this sort of problems here: stop rubbing it in, Steph! ;)
Only kidding, on the rare sunshine days cycling is extra strenuous.
The flies I spit or sneeze out ^_^

+1 to the buff , it stops sweat in the eyes and it can also be used to get rid of wind noise and stops your head being the media for carrying dead bugs after they get caught in the helmet vents.

I keep mosquitoes off of me with speed often, they still get me going up hills sometimes. I can't outrun horseflies though, they are the ones I hate most. The bite hurts and they are tenacious but they are also stupid. I am able to kill a lot of those with my hands.
