I sometimes go through phases of taking a decent quality multi vitamin as I don't really cook and live on sandwiches, toast and ready meals. Can't say I notice any difference in the way I feel when I take them.

If it aint broke, dont fix it. There is absolutely no need for vitamins or supplements if you feel fine and have a balanced diet.

sadly I am broke, so I do need to fix it.

I have to be careful with my calcium, selenium and other bone minerals intake because I have full blown osteoporosis in my left femur (every other bone has a much higher bone density than the average female of my age) and I am on steroids of life (will die without them) so I take supplements for that, as well as additional zinc ^ vitamin C because of a genetic issue with my tongue (chronic permanent geographic tongue - don't look it up if you are eating and have a weak stomach!)...

Protein after riding but use my protein's tricarb before and during exercise. Do recommend it, keeps the body from bonking..it got me through a duathlon.
