Shimano make an Ultegra chainset for CX which is a 46-36 and combined the 11-32 cassette and a med RD should give you a decent low range....

Granted! I took your post to just mean that Tiagra is still available with a triple - but it's only the new series that officially accomodates a 34T sprocket isn't it?TMN to me. Post #10...
Officially, when using the Tiagra triple then you're limited to 32T on the back - giving 50/39/30 x 11-32T
Tiagra compact takes up to 34T - so can do 50/34T x 11-34T.
Either is plenty low for my purposes.
