Does anyone know the correct removal tool for sunrace screw on cassettes?
I purchased a Shimano tool as it looks like the correct fitting but it's just slightly too small and is unable to grab the cassette to spin it off....help!

Started young, and still going.

Barnet,
They are a slightly different size from Shimano and Campag.
Lots on Ebay,
or for the moment get your LBS to take it off for you.

My local lbs are 💩
Left bike in once for work, brought it home and they didn't follow as requested so I've never been back.
Seems all the eBay listings say Shimano and sunrace are same but they definitely are not as I bought one....didn't work.
It's loose in a sunrace freewheel

This is not a cassette, it's a freewheel. The tools are slightly different and the cassette lockring tool wil not cut it. A freewheel invariably needs serious instantaneous torque (aka long lever with or without coal hammer): the tool splines must be correct.
Get one but don't go cheapest. LBS will sell you one, whatever judgement you make of them. Indeed they will likely remove the freewheel for you there and then, for peanuts.
