Really? All the other big sprinters were trying just as hard to win. In fact, it looked to me like a much harder win for him than usual.

I'm sure they were all going for it. It is a victory after all. I'm not being critical of Cavendish (or anyone) for going for it... just saying it's not what I'd call a stage win. More of a 100 yard dash!

I know what you mean but sprint stages are often like that anyway!
