Great, all done.

We are up to 16 now on the September ride so let's hope the weather holds.

For those that are interested I had lunch in the Ypres Castle pub today. Food was good and well priced. To get to it will involved walking up some steps if I can find them again or travelling along a short cobbled street and down these steps.

but this is the garden so if it's a nice day it's worth it.

They stop serving food at 3pm even on a Saturday.

I can point you to the steps up from the road if that's where you decide to go. IIRC the steps from the road are longer than the ones down from the top but better as that cobbled street is a pain plus there's a fairly steep climb to get to it.

Thanks Martin that would be helpful. I did the cobbles last week which was OK on my Tourer but not for a road bike.

The castle at the top of the steps above the Ypres Castle inn is a lovely spot to look out from and where this pic was taken.

When we met up you will recognise me from my shadow as shown here.

The inn and the steps are just behind the people on the right.
Rye is a lovely town.
