Can anyone local recommend anywhere near Ashford station, sorry, Ashford International, that is good for breakfast?

Going back through this thread... and..
The Cafe in the international side of the station does a full English brekkie. (I've not tried it mind you). This is in addition to all sorts of other fine fare available..
A damn fine cup of tea was served too. Most impressed.

That sounds like a vast improvement on the fare available the last time (a good while ago) I was there.
Then it was mostly of the unwrap-and-eat variety, and minimalist when it came to variety. Oh, and not cheap.

It's around 35 - 40 mins on the Javelin out of St Pancras. Wouldn't it be easier for you to pick it up at Stratford though?

good spot. I basicly just did a quick google of live departure boards at ashford international and stratford never appeared

There was a fair bit of what might be described as mild off-roading, so I may use the touring bike next time.

Hmmm, yes a road bike will cope with plenty, but although we'll be going through the marshes on the ride I'd like the bike to carry me, not the other way round...
