I would if it was cheaper - although it's for a good cause, it is simply too expensive. At the moment there is no sign of sportive entry fees leveling out, as demand is still very high. Who knows what the prices will be in 5 years time - £50 might become the norm by 2020!!! I certainly don't enter anything over £25 now, and even that is a lot and requires budgeting for. I'm also limiting myself to a maximum of 5 events per year, purely based on the high costs.

That would bring the cost down from £55 to £44 for the sportive option (rather than the fundraiser). Still a bit too rich for me for a sportive when there are cheaper options available, but hopefully that will save for those who are planning to enter.
