This is things you haven't done but wouldn't really mind trying. Not things you have done and don't want to do again.

I used to go caving, which involved lots of daft abseiling, in my youth. I don't have to do it again.

I remember distinctly being perched over a precipitous cave entrance demonstrating to an instructor how I had carefully checked that the ropes and wotnots were all correctly done in my descender and he gave me an "I'm surrounded by idiots" look and said "haven't you forgotten something?" Oh yes. The descender wasn't attached to me. Oops.

Given we've drifted already... I was hiking or something when in the scouts, which for some reason involved abseiling downs cliff. I did attach the descender 🤣 and a safety rope. I went first as I was pretty decent at abseiling and no-one was at the bottom. I got about 6 foot from the bottom with my extravagant bounds off the cliff when suddenly the safety rope, which hadn't been checked for length, reached its limit and I was lift dangling with my midwife midriff somewhat higher than comfortable.

I had to do some sort shuffle back up the descending rope to create some slack to untie the safety so I could reach the ground🤣
