When pumping my tires with a track pump. Am i suppose to fit the standard end straight onto the presta valve (which works fine)?

I am finding it really hard to get to 110 psi though. Is it me being weak or am i doing something wrong?

Just a thought but have you totally unscrewed the little bit fully at the top of the valve

You have to give it a bit of humpty to top the tyre up.

Some track pumps are pretty crap TBH. Mine will not push above 120psi although my tyres will take 145psi.

Maybe this is the reason it was only like 24 quid or something daft from evans.

But the lbs warned me that i need to check my pressure before i leave the house every time.

Which is a bloody pain in all honesty

I think someone was puling your plonker!

BTW - a £24'er will be a good pump.

Ha ok then.

I did feel checking them every time i went out was a bit much.

I squeezed them and though they felt pretty hard. He said they were low..

This still makes me wonder why its so hard to get the air in.

Maybe its cause im just not use to doing it? I have to hold the valve at all times though or it just falls off...

Are they threaded os smooth valves? Are you using the locking lever on the pump?

Some pumps will be a bit temperamental with the valves. You should always undo the valve and press it for a spit second to let a small amount of air out.
Then the trick is to learn how much to screw back in so your pump is happy with the valve length, as a few pumps will play up if it's fully unscrewed. For me it's about half a turn. Then it works fine

+1

I find a quick tap of the valve does the job.

This is a track pump. The idea is that you put the end nozzle on the valve and then flick the locking lever into place. This holds the valve and enables both hands to be used to inflate the tyre.
