In between here and there
Long story!
Okay I forgot for the first time EVER my rucksack this morning, in my rucksack is my lunch (no big problem) My waterproofs (may get wet no problem) My Tool kit (again no biggie not used it roadside ever) Phone and other gear nothing urgent there either. BUT it did have my two spare tubes, tyre levers and pump, and guess what I had a puncture on the front 5 miles from work. Wearing my cleated road shoes no way could I face walking it! Have not had a puncture on the road for 3000 miles and in the last 7 days had two of the feckers
So I rode slowly 8mph and made sure I watched the tyre and would have stopped if it looked like it was going to unseat, it never did so the rims were on the rubber all the time. I will replace the tyre regardless, but what do I need to look for on the rim?
