Unless it is an especially easy to remove tyre, I find you need at least two tyre levers. Nothing else lying around that you could improvise to hold the bead out until you put the lever back in again along the tyre a bit?I'm stuck with a puncture, found a pot hole. I've only got one tire leaver. For the life of me cannot get tire off. Am I doing something wrong?
Was it a metal tyre lever? I like these, and less chance of scratching the rim being plastic.Home now, slight bump in the ride, I think the tire did not seat properly. I've also scratched the rim so when I brake it catches. Oh what fun!
Yes it was, it also looks like when I put the tire back on I got the inner tube caught! It looks like the tire is out of shape. Was it a metal tyre lever? I like these, and less chance of scratching the rim being plastic.

You could probably gently sand down the scrape on the rim to get it smooth again.
Maybe better take it back off now that you are in the comfort of your home and redo it. Don't want it blowing out on you!Yes it was, it also looks like when I put the tire back on I got the inner tube caught! It looks like the tire is out of shape.

I'm not sure what to do with the scratched rim?? I could lightly sand the marks out?
Looks like I've punctured the second inner tube! It would have been when I used the metal levers! I never had a problem in the past with my MTB, but then I was able to remove a tire without levers! lolI would think a fine grade emery paper would be fine.

I've got a dremel?Or a nail file.
