stuck seat post

ive never been beaten before but the ebay £13.50 501 frame today has won. the chemical reaction between the seat post and frame had caused the frame to bulge and split and you could see where the end of the post in the frame, has anybody seen this before?

A friend had his seat post stuck in his Orbea carbon frame a while back. Just couldn't budge it, he ended up taking it to his local LBS (his first visit). They had it for a few days and charged him nearly £100 for getting it out. I had a good laugh as he is a bit of a tight bugger when it comes to money. Needless to say that was also his last visit to that particular LBS!

sounds more like a slightly larger one has been forced in if tube has bulged , i had to have one cut from a frame once at a cost of £70 for 6.5 hrs of labuor , frame was well worth it
