Stuck Carbon Seat Post

Hi I have a Kuota Kharma 2011 and my carbon seat post has decided to get stuck, Ive not adjussted it since I bought it but wanted to take it out as there was a creaking I was struggeling to locate

Any Ideas how I unstick this?

Be interested to see some replies too - I've got a carbon post wedged into a steel frame, like it would make the bike lighter.

This is through watching it rather than having a carbon seat post, but hopefully it may help.

hi,

you may have sorted this. but i had a seized seat post a few weeks ago and i forced lubricant into the frame where the seatpost sits. dont know how much went down there because i didnt want to force the frame too much, but the frame paint took a few chips all the same )) then i had two options, 3 but i ruled out getting chemical. id either take to a garage and ask to use their tools and vice, or purchase a 36" wrench off ebay and take a chance and end up with a specialist tool.

the wrench came and within three hours off on off wrench by myself id removed the seatpost. after 20 mins it move a centimetre. i had it then lol. the pipe wrench wrecked the seatpost, squeezed it and scared it badly, but still usable for my height, which is handy.
