Whilst out riding along the route of the Leeds, Castleford and Pontefract Junction Railway, at the approach to Kippax, the bridge at Brigshaw Lane had these artworks

Today
During my 'allowed exercise'

I was cutting back through Pontefract Park (the racecourse is also in there), towards a track back to Cutsyke, & spotted this one
I have no idea if it's an emergency telephone, a power-point, or something to do with the race-results?

As it's to the other side of the race-course, to the ParkRun route, I've never seen it before (I have previously ridden that path, but in the opposite direction)

Looks stencilled, it's on a cycle counter isn't it? it would have the pickup grid on adjacent bike path.
