booze and cake
probably out cycling
@growingvegetables I'm sure there's loads of undiscovered ones still to find in Leeds, then you'll have to move onto York, Wakefield, Burnley and Bradford
This evening I continued a theme from page 3 and went in search of some more jazzed up junction boxes. I know right, just how exciting can a Thursday night get
The other side of Pasley Park to Andrea Tyrimos' leopard from page 3, I discovered she also did a meerkat standing guard at the parks entrance.
She also painted an old phone box in Southampton Row, so I went to get that too.
I discovered some other artists involved in greatly improving the look of boring electrical boxes, this time with a focus on local landmarks. mORGANICo and Steven Ball worked as part of a project called Cleaner Greener Safer, run by Southwark Council, to improve run down areas of the borough. I've only found 2 so far, this on Borough High St, which I must have cycled past hundreds of times and amazingly not noticed. Its of the building immediately behind it, St George the Martyr church. According to wiki the church has links to Charles Dickens who lodged in nearby Lent St in a house that belonged to the vestry clerk of St George's. Dickens later set several scenes from Little Dorrit in and around the Church, which apparently has a small representation of Little Dorrit in the east window.
And this next one is on the end of Tabard St, as it joins Tower Bridge Road, and depicts the famous bridge.
