I am not convinced with the elevation on RWGPS is correct either, if you correct it or Garmin, though both are usually closer to the unit than strava, even the unit cant get it right, so it's all guess work, so I suppose the only yhing you can really work with is your h.r. and how hard you have worked, at the end of the day strava is a bit of fun, because even setting a p.b. does not always mean anything.
I know what you mean about elevation when I get three sites and the gps saying similar I'm a wee bit more confident but I dont think it can ever be taken as gospel. What I like doing in RWGPS is creating a segment which can compare several of my rides and displaying their stats, it gives the range of speed, hr and cadence what is fun is racing them against each other

Ditto, its fun watching yourself race yourself.

I've found Strava to work better and more reliably then Endomondo. The distance is within a couple tenths of a mile compared to my Cateye.

Were not talking about distances, the rest can be a little wayward, especially elevation data to say the least, rwgps has it's faults too, I find that times and therefore avg speeds are different.

I am amazed more people don't use cyclemeter, it's my top app by far apart from the calories when even I can't believe

I can't really compare the apps, I haven't used them too much as I find them to be too much of a hassle and somewhat untrustworthy. It's been two years or so after my last time, so maybe they have improved.

Since I started this thread over a year ago, I have brought an edge 800 and now only upload to starva

Is this the place where you're hungry? ;)
