I've been there (on the Ditchling Devil Audax I think) but I've forgotten exactly where it is. Surrey hills, south of Guildford. Or at least, there is a very similar looking this way/that way sign that I've seen. This might be a different one.

Used to stop at the UGLEY women's institute for afternoon teas whilst riding Audax events
.it's pronounced like HUGLEY, The emphasis on the U and G , g is pronounced like a J.
UGLEY is pretty little place even if the inhabitants may not bee.
