Four Italians in the escape. The gap is falling so Pagani has gone on a solo attack... and just fell off on a climb due to lost traction!

Kessiakoff down too, and looks like he might be out.

It's dry conditions but that doesn't appear to be making the gravel roads an awful lot easier.
