25th. Apparently my father was most upset that he had to miss the Morecambe & Wise Christmas special .

July's a good month for birthdays though. My little girl has her first in a couple of weeks :okay:.
Ah that's brilliant good old dad's.

Yeah July is perfect to be honest having them in the same week is perfect as it means it's a full week of excitement and celebrations.

The plan is to see how he gets on with his balance and using the brake before we let him on a pedal bike. The little one will probably skip the larger balance bike and head straight to pedals as he is a true daredevil

I got my little lad a stryder balance bike at 3 and he had no interest. He never took to it and only occasionally went on his bike with stabilisers. At preschool he would fly on them plastic sit on motorbikes but still no bike. Started school and all the kids on scooters, the craze so got him one and learning to balance on that and get over the 'wobbling' fear made a huge difference. So in May we went to Centre Parcs and hired him a 16" bike. Traffic free safety to learn in and within a few hours he was off with a little help setting off etc and holding of seats. By the time we left he was riding alone from me, 100 yards to his mum. We came home a bought an Isla Cnoc16 and it was the best decision yet. He absolutely flys along and loves it. An upgrade to a Beinn 20 will be his Christmas present I think. Your boys will love their bikes. Best part of been a dad eh :okay:
