Starting a new Cycling club

The title says it all. Last year our Football club (GAA) cycled from Armagh to Dublin as a fundraiser, nearly to man we've kept it going and are talking about formally registering as a club.

• Can anyone give us some advice on how to go about it
• Do we really need to as I doubt the (current generation anyway) will enter into races
• As we are based in Northern Ireland would we register in UK or ROI
• We are currently looking to sort a club jersey - any sites to recommend etc..

Think about insurance for organisers - available by affiliation to the CTC.
