I didn't watch today but have just seen a few minutes highlights.

Some nasty looking offs; Lilian Jegou (FdJ) seemed somehow to ride into a tree and break his wrist, Magnus Backstedt - I think, a baldy - (TSL) into the barriers - looks nasty and he takes a while to get up but I think he's only dazed.

A mildram rider's chain snaps quite dramatically, and a 'scare-the-sh*t-outta-me' slide for someone in a very wet descent.

A sprinters stage tomorrow, some early climbs before a 100km, largley downhill run into Toulouse. Another one for Cav?

Hincapie is a good shout - his team are very strong. I would like Evans to have a go today tho as I would hate to see him win the tour WITHOUT winning a stage (I think Lance may have done this - am I right?)

Doesn't seem right somehow!

LA, to date, has had 20 stage wins in the TdeF!

The Sanchez win is good for him and shows some of the depth in that team, all the favorites are still a good position although Cunego has several mountians to climb to get back into the running. I see my tip of Hincapie was good as he was one of the strongest riders in the race and showed it by pushing most of the other ahead of him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
