I don't even care if this is in the wrong place. Shoot me.

Did my first ever Sportive on Sunday. Tour de Mon Canol. 76 miles of Anglesey head winds and lumps.

Never did anything over 54 miles before so really didn't know what to expect. I just held on. Really struggled with the last twenty miles. Cramped every time I got out of the saddle to tackle a hill.

BUT....

I only went and won first female!!!!!1!!!!1!!!!!!!one!!!!11 :hyper:

I still can't quite believe it.

The event itself was incredibly well organised and I'll be back for sure next year.

Sorry. Just fancied sharing. I'm a bit chuffed!

i don't really know 'whatever' a Sportive means, but you obviously enjoyed yours, and also enjoyed being ''first female home''

Well done. Take no notice of the others, it's just because they have never been the first female at anything

Well done Di Di!

I nearly 'won' lanterne rouge in one sportive for coming last out of about 500 riders, but then a group of 6 or 7 even more knackered riders limped in after me!

PS In my defence - it was ever so 'slightly lumpy'!
