SRAM (Truativ) crank in a Shimano BB ?

I'm using a SRAM Truativ crank in a SRAM Mega EXP (External) BB. I'm transferring the SRAM crank to another bike that has a newer Shimano Ultegra external BB. Would it be OK to put the SRAM crank in a Shimano BB?

SRAM spindle width is 30mm -Shimano is 24mm - so no

It wont work, that is right. However, both are 24mm crank spindles. It is just that the SRAM spindle is stepped down on the left side to 22mm. It is infamous for being the world's rubbishest BB ever with a lifespan measured in blinks of an eye.

Interesting , i have a FSA crank in a mega exo BB and picked up a 105 one off the forums , will that fit?

@Yellow Saddle That exactly why I was thinking of using the Ultegra. My first Truativ bb lasted over 25k miles but the sram replacement lasted a couple of thousand at most. The current SRAM is not too bad still but I'm wary it'll go the same way as the latter!
