Hi dear,
I recently bought a Focus IZALCO MAX DISC 9.7 SRAM RIVAL ETAP AXS 12 speed .
I have one technical question abaut chenging the front derailleur from small to big ring.
I notice thet the bike front derailleur CAN'T go up to a large chainring when the rear derailleur speed is over 8 in manual or automatic mode.
When the rear derailleur is from the largest chainring (1) to the 8th chainring down, the front chainring can be changed from small to large.
But when the rear derailleur is from 9 to 12 the chainring cannot be changed in front - small to large.
There is movement in the front derailleur but it does not change the chain. No unusual noise or weaving. It looks like a program from the software. Both dellers have been updated with the latest version of the software.
I do not understand Is this normal for the Sram Rival or is it some kind of software Issue?
For now, I can't find an answer to the question on the net or with specialists.
I don't think there is any defect because you said that you have inspected and built the bike. I guess there is something I don't know.
Can you give me a hand?
Regards,
Nick
