SRAM Red Rear Derailleur

I'm having problems with my Red RD. I couldn't get all my gears so thought it easy just to reset the setup by loosening the cable. I've done this but now it shifts more than one cog at a time. Any ideas on what I've done wrong? Apart from touching it in the first place obviously.

This is a good place to start. I have used it on shimano, campy and the kids SRAM RD's to good effect

Have you clamped the cable with the cable anchor washer in exactly the same orientation/place as in the inset in fig. 6 on page 5 of this document?

Cheers both. I've managed to get it working subject to a test tomorrow. Basic schoolboy error, I'd missed out the cable routing groove on the RD.
