SRAM mtb wheels - what cassette?

I've been looking at the SRAM TD-17 X9 wheels as a new wheelset as I change to disks in place of V-brakes.

But does this rear wheel take a Shimano 9-speed cassette or only SRAM? Or are they the same?

The rest of my set-up is Deore/Deore XT.
