Sram Apex front derailleur

Hi,

Bikes only a couple of hundred miles in but the front mech wont go far enough across now to go onto the large chain ring, not that i use it much

How can I adjust it to go further over?

There should be a barrel adjuster somewhere - usually on the downtube...

1/4 turn should remove any slack in the cable,

If you don't have a barrel adjuster undo the cable and pull it taut with a pair of pliers then tighten. 99.999% recurring this will cure the problem.

Make sure it's on the small ring when you start this procedure - i.e. the only way the lever can go is to pull the cable.

Found a barrel adjuster and tightened it, not been out on the bike though as the tyre was flat

All I need now is to find the barrel adjuster that fixes this
