Raw in this house! well thats how my guinea pigs are getting them on Christmas day, and yes they have the same effect on them as they have on humans ;):blush: A farting guinea pig is pure class!!

I will be eating them as my sisters will be cooking them on the 29th (my belated Christmas day)

As far as I'm concerned raw is the only way, they smell foul when cooked and taste like dog farts.
Such a nice crimbo tradition, making half kids in the house boak over sh#t smelling vegetables, yum yum ;)

I feel like I'm fighting a rearguard action w.r.t. sprouts. Every time they are mentioned I say how much nicer some other vegetable might be instead.
I only have to hold out for about another 20 hours. Wish me luck.

Sprouts are delicious.Steam them for five minutes, then stir fry them in sesame oil with some sesame seeds. Yum.:biggrin:

I am on night shift on Christmas eve and most of us will have had sprouts for lunch and then we are having a small Christmas meal on the night time including sprouts! Eeek

Oh and we are having an indian takeaway tonight-time to leave the building me thinks!

I remember going on holiday just up the road from a sprout farm just after Christmas and they had let the remaining veg just rot in the field the small was undescribablexx(:biggrin:
