I met the guy in the flesh when I worked as a vicking in Jorvick, when he was filming 'The who do you think you are' program was first aired. he was sooo rude. Didn't bother asking for his autograph after he completely blanked us.

If referring to Oddie... you're not the first person I've heard that from about what he's like when meeting him - even at organised events when he's supposed to be meeting people.

I had a great night listening to Mr Oddie talking about birds and he was very friendly afterwards - autographs no problem, guess we got him on a good day.
