Be a shame as the banter between the two of them made it enjoyable watching IMO. The only person I can think of off the top of my head to replace him would Chris Packham as his wildlife knowledge is encylopedic enough to cover most things.

I haven't followed the 'watch series religiously, but it seemed to me Bill was getting a little bit too tetchy and eccentric - just too much to be comfortable sometimes. I know he's had problems with depression in the past, maybe he just needed a break..
